Dr. Nan Wang

Nan Wang received his B.Eng. (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. Prior to those, he took his Singapore-Cambridge GCE (General Certificate of Education) A-Level and GCE O-Level in 2004 and 2002, respectively, both at Hwa Chong Institution, Singapore, with his candidature financially supported by MOE (Ministry of Education) PRC Pre-University Scholarship. From 2009 to 2013, he worked toward his Ph.D. degree, with the financial support of NUS Research Scholarship, as an attached student at the Institute of Microelectronics (IME), A*STAR (Agency for Science, Technology and Research), Singapore, where he is currently working at as a research scientist of the Sensors & Actuators Microsystems (SAM) Program. His research interests include design, fabrication and characterization of aluminium nitride (AlN) based MEMS resonators for timing and sensing applications, RF MEMS, and phononic crystals.
